Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant handles the business services for the Associate Administrator of Testing and Therapeutics. This includes opening mail, answering phones, maintaining schedules in Outlook, scheduling appointments, taking minutes, preparing correspondence, maintaining and organizing files, etc. The position also assists with the capital procurement and PCC processes, including tracking progress of PCC and Strata requests and serves as a liaison with the division and key constituencies, such as other internal departments, medical staff, executive team and external agencies. This position acts as backup to the administrative coordinator for the Chief Wellness Officer, when necessary. The assistant solves multi-level challenges and has the ability to use independent judgment to handle low to mid-level day to day issues without direction.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of one-year of administrative experience (preferably in a health care environment) or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus excellent written/oral communication, organizational, analytical, computer and multi-tasking skills required.
