Job Summary:

1. This position requires analytical abilities to support identification and evaluation of programmatic areas.

2. Prepares invoices and tracks accounts receivables, communicates with vendors as necessary.

3. Prepares invoices for Research Foundation and Upstate Foundation.

4. Records journal entries into Lawson accounting software.

5. Process checks for accounts payables.

6. Entering and documenting payables/receivables in accounting software.

7. Run reports and compile data from several business applications to include Business Objects and banking applications.

8. Prepares correspondence on behalf of the Chairman and Practice Administrator.

9. Schedules and prepares interviews for new medical faculty, to include travel arrangements and coordinating with other departments.

10. Maintains web site on Upstate University platform and performs edits as necessary.

11. Maintains providers profiles on Find A Doc.

12. Maintains department social media sites.

13. Works with marketing office to create, design and distribute marketing materials.

14. Work requires both independent and team-based design and completion of project.

15. Handles variety of administrative matters involving contact with various staff, medical staff, government agencies, insurance carriers and the public.

16. Maintains files and assists in establishing office organization systems.

17. Arranges appointments, meetings, and conferences.

18. Completes medical staff applications and on boarding for medical providers. DEA and NYS license and on boarding new providers.

19. Assists with on boarding new employees,

20. Process and maintain grant applications.

21. Assists with implementing and tracking project management.

22. Assists with process improvement.

23. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administrative or equivalent experience in related field with two years administrative experience. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent oral and written communication skills, competency in appropriate computer software applications, and good organizational skills.

Work Days:

8-430 M-F
