Job Summary: The incumbent will assist the Residency Program Administrator with the operation of the residency training program, in compliance with ACGME, NRMP and Upstate GME guidelines, with the following:
annual recruitment, application screening, annual resident contracts, annual orientation, ongoing data maintenance (MedHub evaluations, didactic schedules and resident attendance, etc); didactic coordination; American Board of Psychiatry and Medicine (ABPN) database maintenance; exiting graduating residents, coordination of resident site rotation requirements, orientation and training, creation and maintenance of resident electronic on call schedule. Responsible to track and prepare the following: program expenses and monthly reports; resident well-being surveys and monthly reports; progress on research projects, progress on QI projects; resident time off and monthly reports; resident Step 3 and CSV exams, presentations at national and international meetings. Prepare 6-month evaluation materials and surveys; prepare meeting materials and distribute meeting minutes. Maintain the Residency Program website and assist with the department website updates. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field and 2 years related experience. Candidates with significant additional related experience may be considered. The Psychiatry  Graduate Medical Education (GME) Assistant Program Administrator is responsible for assisting the Program Administrator with the day to day administration of the
ACGME residency training programs within the Psychiatry Department and will be directly responsible to the Program Director and Associate Directors. This position provides direction, leadership and day to day management of educational activities to include administrative support to the Program Director, Associate Directors
and Chief Residents.

Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent oral and written communication skills, competency in appropriate computer software applications, and good organizational skills.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday daytime hours
