Job Summary:
The Assistant for Nursing Operations provides comprehensive administrative support to the Deputy Director of Nursing for Operations and the departments reporting up through the Deputy Director of Nursing for Operations to ensure smooth operations of divisional and clinical activities. Acts as a central point of contact for Nursing Operations Department. Additionally, the Assistant provides day-to-day administrative support to the Associate Directors, Assistant Directors and Nurse Managers that report up to the Deputy Director of Nursing for Operations. The position reports to the Deputy Nursing Director of Nursing for Operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree (preferably in a health or business-related field) and a minimum of three years administrative experience OR Bachelors degree (preferably in a health or business-related field) and a minimum of one year administrative experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Excellent written/oral communication, organizational skills, customer service skills, analytical, critical thinking, attention to detail, self-directed and computer skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
