Job Summary:

Researcher/Physician Scientist, tenure track position.

 

This position is a unique opportunity for a research scientist/physician-scientist. High quality laboratory space and generous start-up funds are available for qualified investigators. Research in the Department has been focused on brain injury, stroke hydrocephalus, single neuron recording, and brain tumor.

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD or MD/PhD

If candidate holds an M.D., additional qualifications:  NYS license, a NYS medical license, BC/BE in Neurosurgery

Preferred Qualifications:

History of extramural funding

Work Days:

Monday-Friday

Salary Range/Pay Rate:

DOQ
