Job Summary:

The Intake Specialist participates in referral review and triage process for appropriate Golisano Children's Special Needs (GCSN) department allocation. Communicates with parent/caregiver to gather information and provide recommendations. Communicates with Primary Care Providers (PCPs), school districts, and/or mental health providers to discuss appropriateness of referrals. Meets with triage team members to discuss cases and processes. Documents referral updates in EPIC.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work or related field required.

Preferred Qualifications:

One year of experience working with the intellectual and/or developmental disabilities population.
