Job Summary:

Responsible for accurately scheduling and coordinating appointments across multiple specialties, effectively managing competing priorities in a fast paced environment. Speak clearly with proper enunciation and grammar, possess effective keyboarding skills and the ability to accurately type while talking to patients and providers. Exceptional customer service skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

For consideration for this title, you must meet one of the following minimum qualifications:

NYS Department of Civil Service Eligible list or eligible for transfer

Or

Promotional:

You must be a qualified employee of the State University of New York and have had one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service as a Hospital Patient Services Clerk 1 or as a Nursing Station Clerk 1

Work Days:

Schedule based on a 40-hour work week. Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5:15pm
