Job Summary:
Will assist with the day-to-day organization of daily staff assignments, management of patient flow, coordination with in-patient floors and referring physicians to ensure that quality care is rendered according to the needs of individual patients by the CT Radiology Department. Provides technical directions and guidance to personnel within work team. Will be responsible for mentoring staff, review of work performed, assistance with protocol questions and communication of information from department management to the staff. Will be the liaison with the night shift to ensure a smooth turnover and communication at the change of shift. Provides input to management
for budget preparation and capital equipment recommendations. Performs other related duties as assigned by authorized personnel or
as may be required to meet emergencies. Complies with all quality assurance, customer focus, infection control, safety and ail policies
and procedures with the department. Willingly performs other duties as requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of approved School of Medical Radiography. Licensed by New York State and Registered with the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists. CPR Certified. Minimum 5 yrs. Experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of approved School of Medical Radiography. Licensed by New York State and Registered with the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists. CPR Certified. Minimum 5 yrs. Experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
Work Days:
Day Shift. Specific days/hours to be determined. Will be required to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis. Overtime may be required based on departmental needs.
