Job Summary:
General Nephrologist
At Upstate Medical University we believe in providing the full spectrum of medical care for our patients. Our nephrology department is the only university-based program in Syracuse, New York, and is currently expanding to meet the needs of the area. We have hiring opportunities for board-certified or board-eligible general nephrologists, with an immediate academic appointment. The nephrology program provides comprehensive kidney care in the region, including kidney transplantation. Immediate dialysis rounding opportunities are available. Teaching involves medical students, residents, and five nephrology fellows. Join our team of comprehensive nephrology care at a high-volume practice with dedicated APP support.

Upstate Medical University is an academic-based health system with two campuses and several affiliated hospitals in the central New York (Syracuse) region. It is the areas only academic medical center and is also the regions largest employer with nearly 10,000 employees. Upstate Medical University is a level-one trauma center and provides a full array of medical care including basic science opportunities for research.
