Job Summary:

Responsibilities (in addition to the description of Faculty in the Faculty Handbook): Teaches courses for the College of Nursing each semester; Advise students in the College of Nursing; Participate in scholarly activities; Service-Participates in appropriate professional, college and university committees/service organizations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Eligible for New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse. Earned Master's degree in Nursing from an institution of higher education accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency. Working knowledge of curriculum design and implementation. Ability and skills to work independently and collaboratively with faculty, students and others. Organizational ability. Candidate may be considered at a different title and salary based on qualifications.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

NYS licensed Nurse Practitioner with an appropriate national certification and 3-5 years of work experience as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner; Faculty experience; Doctorate (PhD or DNP) preferred. Candidates may be considered at a different title and salary based on qualifications.
