Job Summary: The Clinical Case Coordinator works with a wide range of patients with work-related illness and injury. Working within the scope of their nursing license (RN or LPN), the Coordinator ensures that quality care and services are provided and documented in a consistent manner and in alignment with each patient's individualized care plan and OECC policies. The Coordinator arranges and expedites the diagnostic and treatment process and facilitates care across all clinical cases by managing, coordinating, and monitoring resources to achieve optimal clinical outcomes and appropriate utilization of services. As a contributing member of a multidisciplinary team, the Coordinator helps ensure safe and appropriate clinical pathways. The Coordinator supports continuous quality improvement consistent with national standards and NYS DOH Occupational Health Clinic Network guidelines to promote optimal patient care practices and improve patient outcomes, and provides clinical and administrative support to maintain the operation and function of the clinic. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), in good standing
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in occupational health, specialty care, Workers' Compensation, or care coordination
  • Experience with electronic medical records; Epic strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally across a wide range of stakeholders patients, clinicians, insurers, attorneys, and outside offices
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, deadlines, and pending items
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard clinical systems
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and patient-centered care
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); RN licensure preferred 
  • Experience in occupational health, employee health, urgent care, orthopedics, pain management, pulmonary, neurology, rehab medicine, or primary care
  • Familiarity with NYS Workers' Compensation workflows, prior authorizations, and disability-related documentation
  • Experience performing or coordinating audiometry, spirometry, ECG, phlebotomy, or occupational health screening
  • Experience supporting quality improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrated track record of reliability, sound judgment, and professionalism in complex care environments
Work Days:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

L2: $60,406 - $88,200
