Job Summary:

The Clinical Educator will be involved in the development, coordination, facilitation and evaluation of educational activities through the centralized OTD/Clined Team and by supporting designated Nursing Units. They will function as an overall educational resource/contact. The Clinical Educator is responsible for the coordination of clinical education activities, curriculum development and design that focuses on the development of the expertise of patient care staff.  The Clinical Educator will coordinate and evaluate hospital wide and unit-specific educational activities and programs, in collaboration with nursing leadership and clinical experts (i.e. unit managers/directors, clinical leaders, clinical training specialists, senior nursing management) and ODT.

Minimum Qualifications:

NYS Licensed/Registered (or eligible) RN required. Masters degree in Nursing and four (4) years satisfactory clinical experience providing direct patient care required. CPR-BLS required by time of appointment. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Formal or informal teaching experience, including clinical teaching consultation and practice preferred. Pediatric experience preferred.

Work Days:

Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm with flexibility
