Job Summary:

The Instructional Support Assistant will be responsible for providing assistance in performing laboratory testing; receiving, accessing and processing specimens for testing; assisting with specimen send-outs; assisting with preventative maintenance as assigned; distributing and filing slides; ordering supplies; communicating with clinicians and staff as necessary; using the Laboratory Information System; answering phone calls and inquiries and attending meetings and in-services as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

AAS in Science related field or pertinent college level courses, preferably related to the medical field. Will consider a combination of equivalent relevant education and experience. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Work Days:

Evening Shift 1p-9:30p Monday - Friday with rotating weekends and holiday
