Job Summary:

This position will help support the cytogenetics lab operations by performing duties that helps testing and operations. A cytogenetic lab support assistant involves handling pre-analytic specimen processing, maintaining laboratory equipment, and assisting technologists with cell cultures and slide preparations. Key duties focus on sample receipt, reagent setup, and general lab upkeep.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree in Science or related field (biology/chemistry) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a clinical or research Laboratory

Work Days:

20 hours per week Monday - Friday between the hours of 8-4:30
