Looking to make a meaningful impact in healthcare operations? Join our team as a Community Campus Materials Manager and play a vital role in supporting patient care through efficient supply chain and materials management operations.

The Community Campus Materials Manager is responsible for overseeing 24/7 Materials Management operations across General Stores and Receiving at the Community Campus. In this leadership role, you will ensure the effective distribution, storage, and availability of supplies and equipment while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service.

The Community Campus Materials Manager supervises staff performance and daily operations, including scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and personnel matters. This position partners closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure supplies, equipment, carts, and critical stations are fully stocked, organized, and ready to support patient care needs.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading day-to-day Materials Management operations across General Stores and Receiving.
  • Managing staff scheduling, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and employee development.
  • Providing weekend management coverage as needed to support departmental operations.
  • Monitoring quality metrics and departmental performance to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conducting regular walk-throughs of supply and equipment areas to ensure proper stock levels, organization, and readiness.
  • Ensuring Critical Stations, carts, and kits are maintained, complete, and available for distribution.
  • Supervising the maintenance and organization of distribution pick areas to support efficient workflows.
  • Monitoring staff interactions with nursing and clinical teams to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to improve processes, service levels, and operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Management or a related field and a minimum of two years of relevant experience in equipment distribution, inventory management, or a related area, including supervisory experience (preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment); or an Associate's degree in Management or a related field and four years of relevant experience in equipment distribution, inventory management, or a related area, including supervisory experience (preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment). Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 35 pounds to shoulder height.
