Job Summary:
The Data and Document Control Coordinator supports the administration and coordination of the hospital’s policy management system, including the Document Control Software. The incumbent helps ensure timely compliance of policies, documents, and forms in alignment with ISO document control requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating policy reviews and compliance assessments, reporting compliance status, and collaborating with all departments and committees involved in policy development and review.
- Assists with document formatting, detailed review, uploading, and ongoing maintenance within the MCN software platform, as well as supporting the oversight of patient education materials and other controlled documents.
- Participates in policy related data analysis, supports hospital accreditation activities, attends departmental meetings, and works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and improve operational efficiency.
- Provides support during accreditation surveys and offers additional assistance to Hospital Administration as needed.
- Responsible for accurately compiling, organizing, and submitting highly confidential information through secure portals, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality, and meeting strict deadlines.
- Serves as the Health Commerce System (HCS) HP Coordinator/HPN Data Reporter and HPN Security Coordinator, with responsibilities that include onboarding new users, maintaining access, and deactivating accounts upon staff separation.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree and two years of experience in data management, administrative work, or a related field OR an Associates degree and four years of data management, administrative, or related experience are required. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively as part of a team for seamless coordination of shared responsibilities, as well as work independently on time sensitive projects. Advanced computer proficiency and strong typing skills are essential. This role requires a motivated, independent self starter with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong critical thinking abilities. Candidates must be highly organized and able to demonstrate effective prioritization of work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, Adobe, Outlook, and database management is desired. A strong understanding of hospital operations, medical record data retrieval, medical terminology, and prior clinical experience is strongly preferred.

Monday-Fridays, 8AM-2PM
