Job Summary: Knowledge of oral anatomy and dental terminology and procedures as well as scheduling. Participate in dental treatment of patients by performing dental prophylaxis, applying topical medications, examining and charting of teeth. Instrument set ups and sterilization to include maintenance of other dental equipment. Ordering of dental supplies as required and perform other related duties incidental to the work described. Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree from an approved Dental Hygiene program and current NYS license/registration as a Dental Hygienist required. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years related experience preferred.  Prior computer knowledge and taking digital x-rays preferred.

Work Days:

Wednesday and Thursday 8am-4:30pm .50 unpaid lunch
