Job Summary:

The Director of Business Development and Strategic Initiatives is responsible for assessing, developing, and facilitating service line strategic growth initiatives including planning and project execution. The Director conducts market analyses and business activity assessments of local and regional cancer care and related services. Identifies service integration and growth opportunities; develops cohesive business plans. Coordinates with the administrator for the planning, development and implementation of department operating and capital budgets in a manner consistent with the hospital's financial plan and quality patient care objectives. Specific duties include management and evaluation of fiscal operations and profitability assessment. Contributes to comprehensive strategies informing patient service marketing initiatives and development of exceptional patient, physician and employee experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Nursing or related health care field required. Minimum of 5 years progressive management experience in a health care setting required. Proven leadership, communication, analytical and written/oral communication skills required. Demonstrated success in administrative responsibilities to include medical staff relationships, health care planning, finance, reimbursement, contract negotiation, project planning, and management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Health system, hospital and/or ambulatory care experience preferred. Experience in leadership support for service provision of outpatient oncology services provided by multidisciplinary care team. Candidates with health services growth and expansion experience including; familiarity with facility and regulatory requirements, CON, business proposal development, and project oversight are preferred.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday, Days May require work outside of normal business hours.
