Job Summary:

The Echocardiograph Technician provides high-quality cardiac ultrasound imaging services in both hospital and clinic settings. Responsibilities include performing 2D and 3D echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), exercise and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms, and assisting with echocardiographic procedures in the Heart and Vascular Center. Opportunities are available for ongoing professional development, advanced training, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Cardiac ultrasound experience required.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or registry-eligible, required.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Candidates with cardiac ultrasound experience who are not RDCS-, RCS-, or registry-eligible will be considered at a commensurate salary and must obtain the required credential within one year of hire.
  • New graduates of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program with no prior cardiac ultrasound experience will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in a related health field.
