Job Summary:

The Employee/Labor Relations Assistant is an administrative-level position reporting to the Employee/Labor Relations section of the Human Resources department. This role will provide administrative services and assistance on a wide variety of Employee/Labor Relations and Human Resources matters. The E/LR Assistant will handle highly confidential & sensitive information associated with day-to-day contract administration and employee issues.

Main Duties Include:

  • Schedule meetings and manage calendars efficiently.
  • Research background information on cases/grievances.
  • Provide assistance to customers by responding to routine Employee/Labor Relations inquiries.
  • Coordinate and prepare required documentation, including drafting correspondence and reports.
  • Perform various administrative support tasks, such as transcribing disciplinary interrogation dictations, answering phones, scanning, and filing.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree OR Associates degree and two years of experience in an office setting required.  Excellent written/verbal communication, computer and organizational skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors preferred.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday, days
