Job Summary:
The Executive Director of Health System Strategic Affairs is a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing long-term strategies that advance the mission, vision, and growth of the health system. This role drives alignment across operational, clinical, academic, and business development initiatives, ensuring strategic integration with internal and external stakeholders including collaboration with government agencies, community partners, academic institutions, and industry collaborators.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Health Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or a related field required; 5 years of progressive leadership experience in strategic planning, health system management, or external affairs within a complex healthcare organization; Proven track record of executing large-scale initiatives and fostering high-level partnerships.
The incumbent must possess exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels, deep understanding of healthcare delivery systems, reimbursement models, and regulatory environments, and ability to manage multiple complex projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in academic health systems, integrated delivery networks, or public-private partnerships is a strong plus.
