Job Summary:
A federal work study student is needed in the Department of Pharmacology. Beginning of June, a successful candidate is expected to assist biomedical research project which is ongoing in Urao laboratory. Activities involve wet lab experiments such as cell culture, biochemistry assays, mouse models and human blood samples. The project is funded by NIH, and the laboratory will provide supervision, guidance and training. Working hours will be determined by the supervisor depending on schedule of the project and availability of the supervision.
Previous experience of biomedical research is preferable.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a current student enrolled at Upstate Medical University and approved for financial aid through the Student Financial Aid office at Upstate.

Salary Range/Pay Rate:
$17/hour
