Job Summary:

This is a full-time in-office position. The individual in this role must be organized, detail-oriented and have a strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. The Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and monitoring the organization's financial data. This position will complete the day-to-day operations of accounts payable and accounts receivable, provide technical accounting, analysis, and support to the Financial Planning Manager and Principal Financial Officer. Key position responsibilities include financial accounting analysis, budget reporting analysis, audit reporting analysis, and special projects as needed.

Main responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial transactions to ensure compliance with internal controls and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Performs routine accounting activities such as maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, posting of journal entries and preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports.
  • Responsible for various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, reconciliation, and analysis.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation and responding to auditors requests. 
  • Uses accounting and financial procedures in resolving problems and preparing recommendations and reports as needed.
  • Performs any other assignments as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, or a related field as well as two or more years of relevant finance or accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare environment. Will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:

  • Have a thorough understanding of accounting procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access) with an emphasis on advanced knowledge and application of Excel with ability to develop effective spreadsheets.
  • Working knowledge of financial statements, general ledger and other information systems and report writers.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicate skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manipulate and understand complex information.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Access is helpful but not required.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

L3: $60,265 - $100,255

Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. The salary range depicted is based on full time, 1.0 FTE and would be prorated accordingly for less than 1.0 FTE.
