Job Summary:

Duties include, but are not limited to: Assisting therapists with patient transfers and transport; assisting therapists with treatments that involve moving and positioning of patients that require multiple staff; completing inventory checks and ordering supplies; assisting with maintaining the environment through cleaning and picking up equipment as well as cleaning and maintaining wheelchairs and cushions. Such maintenance and cleaning responsibilities include cleaning, filling, and draining whirlpool, wiping down equipment, wheelchairs, and mats, returning equipment to its designated area, as well as organizing and maintaining closets and cupboards. Will also participate in related special projects as assigned. Must be able to handle multiple tasks effectively and maintain patient confidentiality. Candidates with excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills are preferred. Will be able to work at UH, Community , and all out patient sites.

Minimum Qualifications:

There are no education or experience requirements.

Work Days:

Schedule based on a 40 hour work week. Monday-Friday 8-4:30pm
