Job Summary:

The Ambassador Program's mission is to provide outstanding customer service to all patient, family member, visitor and staff at University Hospital. Greet patients, families and visitors as they enter University Hospital and issue visitor badges/hard badges in a courteous manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

The NYS Department of Civil Service has developed the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement (HELP) Program, Effective April 5th, 2023. During this program, the NYS Civil Service Exam requirements are suspended for the Hospital Patient Services Clerk 1, SG07 title.

For consideration for this title, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:

One year full-time clerical, secretarial or patient care experience in a healthcare setting. 

Work Days:

Schedule based on a 40-hour work week. 6pm - 10pm with rotating weekends.
