Job Summary:
While maintaining patient confidentiality conduct a courteous, professional interview with patients to gather and enter all demographic and insurance data into CAIS. Areas covered by this title within PAS are Admitting, Central Registration, Emergency Registration, Outpatient Registration at UHCC, Pre-Registration and 550 Harrison.
Minimum Qualifications:
The NYS Department of Civil Service has developed the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement (HELP) Program, Effective April 5th, 2023. During this program, the NYS Civil Service Exam requirements are suspended for the Hospital Patient Services Clerk 1, SG07 title.
For consideration for this title, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:
One year full-time clerical, secretarial or patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
Work Days:
Schedule based on a 40-hour work week. Monday - Friday 5:30am - 2pm
