Job Summary:

Intraoperative Monitoring (IOM) Technicians perform neurophysiological monitoring in the operating room to assist with assessing the functional integrity of the peripheral and/or central nervous system during vascular, orthopedic and neurosurgical operative procedures. Procedures recorded by the technologist include, but are not limited to, electroencephalograms, evoked potentials, compressed spectral array, electrocorticography, and topographic brain mapping. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or CAAHEP Diploma or current R. EEG T. or R. EP T. credential or certificate of completion from ABRET Recognized Program.

Candidates who are current IOM technologists with CNIM certification may be considered for appointment to the position at a commensurate salary

Preferred Qualifications:

CNIM preferred.

Work Days:

Variable shifts, rotating Holidays, weekends, Oncall/Recall
