Job Summary:

The Nursing Learning Management System (LMS) and Educational Specialist is a key member of the Clinical Nursing Education team, providing leadership, administration, and strategic oversight of the Nursing's learning technologies that support clinical education. This role is responsible for the operational management, optimization, and ongoing support of the Learning Management System and related educational platforms used for onboarding, competency validation, regulatory compliance, professional development, and continuous readiness for accrediting and regulatory agencies. This role ensures the system functions as a reliable, accurate, and user-centered platform that supports safe clinical practice, patient safety, nursing excellence, and organizational learning goals. Working in close partnership with clinical educators, nursing education leaders, subject-matter experts, and interprofessional stakeholders, including IT, Human Resources, Quality, and Compliance. This role ensures that educational content and learning processes are accessible, instructionally sound, current, auditable, and aligned with clinical standards and regulatory requirements. This role supports Nursing orientation by assigning and registering nursing staff for required education.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience required or equivalent combination of degree and experience. Experience in supporting the use of learning management system, self-serve, Microsoft Office, and knowledge of web page development and web-based education technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting or administering Brightspace in a healthcare or hospital setting. Knowledge of nursing education, clinical practice environments, and regulatory requirements. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday, Days with flexible hours to meet department needs
