Job Summary: Greet patients, direct to exam rooms, prepare for exam. Routine assistance during exams: set up trays for injections, measure and record progress of patients, take and record vital signs. Assist with general office duties, reception, appointment scheduling, filing and chart preparation. Contact various insurance companies to obtain authorizations for physical therapy, MR's, CT's, surgery, etc. Contact primary care physicians to obtain referrals on new patients or extensions of referrals on current patients. Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed/registered LPN. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in an outpatient setting (specialty area) strongly preferred.

Work Days:

Per diem - varies
