Job Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse is an individual who rooms/screens patients, takes vitals, and reviews medication lists for patients. This individual will assist clinician with exams and procedures and answer sick patient calls under the direct supervision of the clinician or RN. Will handle prescription renewals, enter, or edit lab work orders, and help maintain communication between patient and clinician. This individual will maintain and stock exam rooms and clean instruments/rooms. Will be responsible for incoming and outgoing work orders ordered by the physician. Minimum Qualifications:

NYS LPN license and 3 years directly related experience. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required. Familiarity with medical office procedures and standards of medical care.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in an outpatient medical practice with Pulmonary patients preferred

Work Days:

Monday through Friday daytime hours
