Job Summary:

Under the guidance of the Director of A/R Follow Up, the A/R Manager is responsible for the overall management, administration and performance of the Follow Up Team, Large or Small Balance Units. Ensures that third party payers and patients are billed accurately, and outstanding balances are resolved in a timely manner. Acts as intermediary for both outside departments and Patient Financial Services personnel in answering payer and/or patient questions. Responsible for developing/updating policies and procedures in accordance with established Patient Financial Services goals, and ensuring that policies and procedures are followed. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Care Management or related field and a minimum of two years progressive experience in the healthcare financial field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience required. Excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication skills, analytical, team building and organizational skills necessary. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous management experience preferred.

Work Days:

Monday through Friday days
