Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Medical Staff Services and Quality Project Management, the Medical Staff Data Coordinator works with stakeholders and leadership teams to gather and use data in support of Medical Staff credentialing, privileging, re-credentialing and peer review activities. This position will contribute to data collection, retention, retrieval, and presentation, and work closely with leadership to ensure high quality and timely completion of deliverables. Responsible for building relationships with the Upstate analytics community, supporting complex problem solving and systems wide improvement projects, building and maintaining dashboards, and assisting with quality improvement initiatives associated with accreditation. The Medical Staff Data Coordinator is responsible for working with multi-disciplinary teams to facilitate the most efficient data collection process.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree and three years relevant experience including experience working with data in a healthcare environment or Bachelors and one year relevant experience including experience working with data in a healthcare environment OR an equivalent combination of education & experience required. Excellent written/oral communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and computer skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working with physician populations preferred. Experience with databases preferred. Familiar with Tableau or other data analytics software. Familiar with statistical analyses concepts.

Work Days:

M - F, 8 AM - 4:30 PM
