Job Summary:

Core Responsibilities

Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in daily clinical meetings with behavior teams to evaluate, discuss, and refine patient treatment plans.

Behavioral Intervention: Actively implement evidence-based behavioral treatment procedures and track clinical data to monitor patient progress.

Patient-Centered Care: Assist individuals with daily living tasks while upholding the highest standards of patient dignity, respect, and privacy.

Clinical Problem-Solving: Identify behavioral and operational challenges, proactively contributing strategies and solutions within a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
The NYS Department of Civil Service has developed the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement (HELP) Program, during this program, the NYS Civil Service Exam requirements are suspended for the Mental Health Therapy Aide, SG09 title.
For consideration for this title, you must meet all of the following minimum qualifications:
1: Graduated from high school or have earned a high school equivalency diploma (such as a GED)
