Responsible for the coordination and scheduling of screening mammography patients for the mobile mammography unit. Serves as a liaison to internal/external departments/agencies as well as for the patients. This position works remotely and is responsible for eligibility determination , pre-registration, scheduling, coordinating work flow and assisting with post-appointment work flow as needed.
Associate's degree with at least two years relevant experience, preferably in a health care setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Ability to travel is required.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, excellent communication and computer skills, Must be able to work independently, knowledge of medical terminology and medical scheduling experience preferred.
Specific Days/Hours to be determined. May be required to work weekends/holidays. Overtime may be required based on departmental needs.
