Job Summary:

Technologist Staffing:
1- Daily supervision of all technologist staff
2- Recruitment & hiring of technologist
3- Ensures adequate staffing levels (coordinates all leave time)
4- Conducts annual staff evaluations
5- Resolves any and all disciplinary concerns
6- Oversees technologist schedules
7- Oversees patient flow
8- Some knowledge of EPIC, Radiant and PACs is a plus!

Patient Care:
1- Ensures all patients receive excellent care
2- Resolution of all patients concerns and/or complaints

Equipment:
1- May help in receiving competitive quotes
2- May help to evaluate technical specs on quotes for new equipment.
3- Coordinates equipment maintenance and any service needed

Supplies:
1- Orders supplies
2- A/P & A/R

Quality Assurance:
1- Works directly with the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO)
2- QA of patient images
3- Assuring compliance with ACR
4- Coordination of all activities to ensure a positive outcome of all inspections of New York State Dept. of Health (NYSDOH)
5- Oversees mandatory continuing education programs for staff and CPR training.
6- Performs and/or oversees QA testing on all equipment

Additional responsibilities:
1- Keep an open communication with all staff, referring physicians, residents, attending physicians and upper administration
2- Maintains a clean and safe environment at all times
3- Assures all protocols and guidelines are followed
4- Revises the Procedures and Protocols as needed. Review at least annually
5- Must be creative and able to think out side the box
6- Able to work on their own and also with a team.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Radiography or related field, license and registration (ARRT), and 4 years experience as a Medical Radiology Technologist with management experience. Significant related experience will be considered as substitute for required degree. Current CPR certification 

NYS DOH ( Nuclear)

Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.

CNMT or ARRT (N) and also CNMT (CT) or ARRT (CT)

Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

EPIC experience a plus!

Must be willing to travel between two offices if needed.

This position will oversee Ultra Sound and Molecular Imaging technologist.

Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30 pm

L4: $72,000 - $115,508
