Job Summary:

The Nursing Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment and related activities for the nursing department. Responsibilities include active and passive sourcing of candidates, interviewing/screening candidates, and assisting hiring managers in filling open positions. Additionally, the Nursing Talent Acquisition Specialists represent Upstate at a variety of internal and external recruitment events.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, and three years of relevant experience required. Ability to plan, execute, and deliver on projects and tasks in a timely manner is required. Excellent interviewing, assessment, strong interpersonal skills, and verbal and written communication skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Healthcare recruiting experience highly preferred. Strong working knowledge of human resources practices, employment laws, and collective bargaining unit agreements preferred. Ability to understand business and clinical aspects of healthcare preferred. Seeking highly motivated individual that possesses the desire to grow with the office and the organization and that has the ability to establish and cultivate relationships. 

Work Days:

Monday-Friday, days with occasional weekends and evenings
