Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapy Assistant - Weekend will complete treatments per initial evaluation completed by OTR. Patient populations include but are not limited to stroke, orthopedic, TBI, Trauma. Provide quality and evidence-based treatments; assist in treatment planning; monitor response to treatment: modify treatment appropriately; revise therapy goals in collaboration with OTR; complete appropriate documentation in a timely manner. Collaborate with other health care providers and families.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, NYS O.T.A. license and registration, and 2 years eligible clinical experience required.

Candidates who possess an Associates degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, NYS license or Limited Permit or eligible and less than 2 years experience will be considered for entry level (SL1) position at a commensurate salary.

CPR certification required at time of appointment. 

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 2 years of clinical experience preferred

Work Days:

Must be available to work at least two weekend days a month, day shift.
