Job Summary:

The Outreach and Education Coordinator will serve as a key leader in expanding the impact and visibility of the Occupational Health Clinical Center (OHCC). This role is responsible for developing and implementing community-based outreach, education, research, and quality improvement initiatives. The coordinator will also support scientific writing, grant development, and academic engagement while working closely with clinical teams, external stakeholders, and public health collaborators. This position requires a versatile and mission-driven individual who can engage across diverse environments from clinic to community to classroom.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Masters of Public Health (MPH) or Epidemiology or related degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in occupational health, public health, community engagement, or academic settings.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical information for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinicians, researchers, community leaders, and public agencies.
- Sound project management skills and ability to balance multiple projects with varying timelines.
- Ability to travel locally for meetings, outreach events, and stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Second degree in relevant field.
- Proficiency in Spanish or other languages to support culturally responsive outreach.
- Experience supervising students, interns, or project staff.
- Familiarity with academic publishing and conference presentations
-Proven ability to write and manage grant proposals.
-Experience conducting data analysis and using results to inform programming or strategic priorities.

Work Days:

8:30am-5:00pm Mon-Fri
