Job Summary:

Spiritual Care coverage for Community hospital's Cancer Center and Palliative Care teams, as well as serving as a member of Spiritual Care team to expand coverage.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree and 3-5 years experience required, or Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years experience. Reiki level 2 certification required. Has completed four units of Association for Clinical Pastoral Education training, with at least one unit being Level II. Two of the four units may be equivalent to 400 hours of supervised ministry, preferably in an outpatient cancer setting or hospice setting, for a total of 1600 clinical chaplaincy training hours. One year experience working as a chaplain covering inpatient or outpatient oncology and/or palliative care.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be Board Certified by the Association of Professional Chaplains, the National Association of Catholic Chaplains or the National Association of Jewish Chaplains or achieve this certification within two years of employment.

Work Days:

20 hours/week - flexible
