            Job Summary:
The Karjoo Family Center for Pediatric Gastroenterology is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider for our Ambulatory Clinic.  The clinic provides care for a broad range of gastrointestinal and liver diseases including advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.  We also support the local community physicians with consultations for common gastrointestinal problems such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting and constipation.  Clinical responsibilities of this role will include both new and follow up patient visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert level clinical care & coordination of care via a full range of services that will improve quality of patient care.
Assessing & evaluating patients, ordering appropriate laboratory testing & diagnostic studies, arranging for referrals, testing, consultation & therapeutic services.
Maintaining outstanding relationships with families, referring physicians & all members of the health care team.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (or graduated from an accredited PA program).
NYS Licensed/Registered NP or PA.
Current National Certification consistent to the clinical practice. 
NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required. Have a NPI number and be Medicare enrolled with a Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) (or eligible for Medicare Enrollment within 6 months of hire.
CPR-BLS Certification required at the time of appointment.
Must successfully pass pre-employment and credentialing clearances. 
Preferred Qualifications:
Pediatrics, GI experience.
Work Days:
Monday – Friday, Days with possible evening hours.
