Job Summary:
The Office of Undergraduate Medical Education administers the undergraduate medical education program, coordinates the content and sequence of courses, and promotes innovative learning, teaching, and evaluation of techniques. The Phase 2 Curriculum Coordinator will assist in all aspects of the medical school curriculum with a focus on the clinical studies and courses that occur in the clerkship and post-clerkship curriculum. The Phase 2 Curriculum Coordinator acts as an administrative liaison and provides project management support at the direction of the Phase 2 Manager. This includes: course coordination in Phase 2, efficient preparation and communication of curricular information to Clerkship and Course Directors, content leaders, faculty, and students; schedules learning sessions including room reservations or video conference, as needed; administers and tracks student exams, including timely and accurate communication with student examinees; manages and maintains curricular materials within the learning management system (LMS) and other platforms -acting as front line contact and liaison between students, faculty, and administrators ; attends and participates in curricular committees and other curricular related meetings, provides committee support for the Phase 2 subcommittee, curricular projects and tasks, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant professional work experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Interest in medical education desired. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Interest in medical education desired. Prior administrative experience in an academic and/or clinical setting preferred.
Work Days:
M-F 8am-4:30pm.
