Job Summary:

The Policy Manager will coordinate & administer the hospital policy management Document Control Software System. The incumbent will work on the development and maintenance of the hospital policy management system to support timely policy, document and form compliance needed for ISO document control compliance and support the control of patient education files and other controlled documents. Will coordinate reviews and compliance assessments and report on compliance. Works with all hospital departments and interacts with committees for policy review coordination and compliance and training on using the software system. The position will have a key administrative role for being the central policy document control resource person and the administrative oversight and maintenance person for the software system. Has oversight for policy set up/formatting, detailed review, upload and maintenance of the MCN software system. This person will be responsible for supervision of varying levels of staff. Familiar with data entry and identifying outliers.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and 3 years of health care experience including leadership experience. Self-motivated individual with great communication skills and embraces a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Policy Management System Maintenance experience preferred. Knowledge of NIAHO standards, quality management systems, hospital operations and familiarity with policies and procedures preferred. Expert in Microsoft Word and proficient with Microsoft Excel preferred.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday, days with weekends as needed
