We use a variety of cell biological and biochemical techniques, including cutting-edge microscopy methods such as confocal microscopy, Total Internal Reflection Microscopy (TIRF), and Fluorescence Recovery after Photobleaching (FRAP), to probe myosin functions. The position will also provide opportunities for collaborations with biomedical engineers, biophysicists, clinical geneticists, and other clinical and basic science researchers. The successful candidate will have the ability to design and conduct experiments, interpret data, prepare manuscripts, and present results at national and international meetings and have a strong interest in collaborative research.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Ph.D. in Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Biophysics, or a related field.
