Job Summary:
The Program Assistant will serve in an administrative capacity to assist department chairs, faculty and student in support of the College of Health Profession programs. The Program Assistant will create, manage and track program didactic and clinical education activities. Responsible for building, maintaining and tracking confidential departmental student records for graduation and accreditation requirements. Utilize excel and web-based applications, to manage program data reports and surveys; create survey and department performance outcomes reports. Responsible for assisting in the budget process including processing purchasing requisitions for services, capital equipment and other miscellaneous orders. Process department invoices, track annual renewals and fees for timely processing and payment with Accounts Payable, vendors, and department budgets. Manage and process travel requests and reimbursements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with at least one year of relevant work experience OR an Associate's degree with three years of relevant work experience required. Proficient with Microsoft Office products and experience with system-based software programs; and excellent written/verbal communication, and customer service skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior administrative experience in an academic setting preferred.
