Job Summary:
The Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological assessment, evidence-based psychotherapy, clinical interventions, outreach, and preventive programming to patients of Upstate Medical University. This position will practice within the Psychiatry Faculty Practice as part of the Psychology Division in the Department of Psychiatry, delivering high-quality outpatient behavioral health services to a diverse patient population.
The Psychologist will conduct psychological evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, provide psychotherapy, and make recommendations for ongoing care in collaboration with interdisciplinary providers. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional patient-centered clinical care, participating in integrated treatment planning, and maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, if clinical faculty appointment is requested and granted, the Psychologist will provide teaching/supervision and/or mentoring to trainees rotating through assigned clinical services, participate in departmental administrative and quality improvement activities as assigned, and contribute to the academic, educational, and clinical mission of the Department of Psychiatry.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. or Psy. D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program. NYS license as psychologist is required. Two or more years' experience providing individual outpatient therapy to adults.

L4: $75,303 - $120,627

The salary range depicted is based on full time, 1.0 FTE and would be prorated accordingly for less than 1.0 FTE.
