To ensure that our patients receive the care they need we are adding to our Radiation Therapy team, around the clock. Can you help us? Here’s what you’ll do:
- Deliver prescribed doses of high energy x-ray treatment by means of linear accelerators or other radiation producing equipment to patients with malignant diseases;
- Supervise clinical experience of radiation therapist students;
- Create and maintain harmonious relationships with patients and families, physicians as well as other hospitals and associated facilities
Minimum Qualifications:
AAS/ BA or BS in Radiation Therapy or completion of approved AMA certified program. RT(T); NYS license or eligible or limited permit to practice as a Radiation Therapist required. Limited Permit is valid for 180 days, must receive NYS License before limited permit expires. CPR is required by time of appointment.
