Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab provides care for patients undergoing procedures in the department of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Endovascular Suite in the Heart & Vascular Center. This includes, prep, procedure and recovery of these patients as well as on-call responsibilities for this care. Assists in clinical care for all patients as needed in the HVC.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent, NYS licensed/registered Nurse (or eligible) with a minimum of 2 years post licensure acute care nursing experience (preferably in an ICU/cardiac/critical care setting) required. CPR/BLS and ACLS certification required by time of appointment. Must be able to handle physical aspects of patient care such as moving patients and equipment, work well in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Acute care experience in Cardiac Care.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday, flexible days; participation in on call duties required for off shift weekend & holiday.
