Job Summary:

Provides professional nursing care to patients/families and the community. Accomplishes this by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care and supervising the work of the licensed practical nurses, ancillary staff and students assigned to the unit

Minimum Qualifications:

Possession of or eligibility for a license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent inpatient nursing experience in critical care setting, preferably in an academic medical center setting highly desirable. Inpatient CDI or coding experience, preferably in an academic medical center setting highly desirable. Knowledge of community, state, and federal laws and regulations, including those of CMS preferred

Work Days:

Part-time (0.6 FTE), Evenings/nights minimal weekends and holidays
