Job Summary:

The Secretary II will perform standardized patient check-in and check-out procedures including registration activities such as entering and/or verifying demographic, insurance and/or financial information; generate routine forms, obtain patient signatures, and collects co-pays. Other daily tasks include but are not limited to: answering telephone calls, scheduling patient appointments, assists with referrals as needed, gathers/scans patient forms/records into EPIC, performs daily appointment confirmation calls to patients and prioritizes incoming
mail/faxes. Assists in QI activities and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two years of secretarial/clerical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in an ambulatory medical office and use of computer systems such as Epic, Word, Groupwise, Chartmaxx. Knowledge of PCMH

Work Days:

Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30pm
