Job Summary:

This position will perform biomedical research on eye tissues. Duties include but are not limited to: perform live cell imaging and image analysis. Perform cell culture, biochemical assays, protein expression and purification, protein gels, and western blots. Perform molecular biology tasks, including PCR, DNA sequence analysis, and gel electrophoresis. Manage mouse colony. Order lab supplies and reagents. Maintain lab cleanliness and keep accurate records.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Neuroscience, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience working in a research laboratory. Practical and theoretical knowledge of cell and molecular biology.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday; Some evening or weekend hours may be required to accommodate lab activities

Message to Applicants:

Salary Range-$35,568-$55,000. Position may have part time availability to a minimum of 50%.
